Make a "Wobble" card...
Hello and Happy Thursday! It's Challenge 102 over at the Ai Blog today, and the challenge is to make a "Wobble" card. I had to look this one up, as I wasn't entirely sure what a wobble card was. I found a great u-tube video that showed what they are, and how to make your own. It is a card that has a small spring behind the image, and when you tap it, the image wobbles slightly. I made mine with a piece of metal wire. It was fun to try this technique!
My card size is a regular A2 size card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2"). I used my all time favorite Art Impressions stamp, Birthday Whoot stamp set, SKU# 4125. I stamped him with Memento black ink and colored him in with Prisma Color pencils and Gamsol and paper stumps for blending.
For the inside I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Whoots stamp set. Makes a great birthday card for anyone! Masculine Birthday card
Happy Friday! I've been busy working on "Masculine" cards this week, and have a birthday card to share with you today. I really LOVE this Ai Bear image, SKU# P3245. I think it's perfect for a masculine birthday card. I like how this card turned out. The card size is a regular A2 card size (4-1/4" x 5-1/2")
For the inside of my card, I stamped a simple Happy Birthday script sentiment, SKU# G963.
Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Ai Challenge 101, Masking
Hello and happy Thursday! It's Challenge 101 over at the Art Impressions Blog today, and the challenge is "Masking". I haven't done any masking on a stamped image in quite some time so I was excited to try making a nice distressed background behind my stamped Eunice image, SKU# K1619.
I stamped my image onto Solar White cardstock, then re-inked my stamp and stamped on a large piece of post-it-note paper. I then fussy cut out the image out of the post-it-note paper and then placed it over the stamped image on the cardstock. Then I gently brushed tea dye distress ink to create a nice soft tea dye background.
I then trimmed my image and colored her in with Copic markers. It's a subtle background, when you just want to warm up the background a little.

Gotcha Valentine!
Hi Ai friends and happy Friday! Today I have a cute Valentine's Day card to share that I made for my sweet husband. I just LOVE this adorable Ai Boy Cupid stamp set SKU# 4129. It's the perfect size for a A2 size card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2"). My base is black cardstock, layered with Cherry Cobbler red cardstock by Stampin Up! I chose to use come cute Valentine designer paper, and die cut a heart and embossed the heart for added texture.
I stamped the cute Boy Cupid with black Memento ink, and colored him in with copic markers. I fussy cut him out and layered him onto the heart with foam tape. I die cut a flag with white cardstock and stamped "Gotcha!" in black ink, then distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink.
For the inside of my card I stamped "Hi Valentine", SKU# G4007. I added a strip of matching designer paper at the bottom. Hope you enjoyed my Valentine Day card. Thanks for stopping by the Art Impressions blog today. I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Show me the love... hearts challenge!
I die cut some cute Valentine's Day designer paper from Love Note by Fancy Pants 6" x 6" paper pad, and sewed them onto the front of the red scalloped hearts die cut cardstock. I die cut a strip of pinked border to add a little something between the two designs. Then I layered my colored Tina image onto the top.
For the inside of my card I die cut a heart from white cardstock, and stamped the matching sentiment from the Ai Tina set. I really like how this valentine's day card turned out. It was so fun to make. I hope you can stop by the Art Impressions blog to see what the other Design Team members come up with for this fun challenge. Won't you play along with us?
