Meet Beanie Whoot

Hello friends and happy Friday! I've been working on some birthday cards this week, and I decided to ink up this cute Ai Beanie Whoots stamp SKU# M4122. Isn't he the cutest or what? I decided to keep this card clean and simple. The kraft card base is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". I stamped my Beanie Whoots onto white cardstock, and colored the owl's hat and chest with Spectrum Noir markers (aqua's and grey's). I colored the owl and the branch with my Prisma Color pencils, gamsol, and paper stumps. I chose some lovely designer papers from a 6"x6" My Mind's Eye paper pad (Lost and Found 2, Breeze collection). LOVE those beautiful papers!

On the close up you can see the two different kinds of stitches I used to sew around the edges of the card. (Click on the photo for a close up).

For the inside of the card I stamped a cute sentiment from the Ai Birthday Whoot stamp set, SKU #4125. Distressed the edges with some tea dye distress ink, and added a matching strip of designer paper.
Thank you for stopping today! Have a safe and wonderful weekend and Happy Stamping!

Antiquing, Ai Challenge 92

Hello and Happy Thursday! It's Challenge 92 over at the Ai blog today. Today's challenge is "Antiquing". I thought this Art Impressions Antique Car stamp SKU# T2233 would be perfect! (It's a perfect stamp for a "Masculine" card).
The size of my card is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". I've had the brads and this fabulous fall striped designer paper in my stash for the longest time, and it went together wonderfully with the "Antique" theme. The "Roadtrip" stamp (from B-Line Stamps) I bought at my local scrapbook/stamp store in Walnut Grove, MN called Fond Memories. Love the two stamps together.
Please stop by the Art Impressions Blog to see what the other design team members have come up with! Play along with us, and you could win a $10.00 certificate for Ai stamps!

For the Coffee Lover...

Hello and Happy Friday! I've been busy making a few cards for the coffee lovers in my life. I think just about everyone in my family, and most of my friends, drink and loves coffee.  So I immediately fell in love with the Ai Coffee Keeper stamp set, SKU# 4074 when I first saw it. I just HAD to have it! For this card I used some cute designer paper that I had in my stash of 6"x6" paper pads. This  is "Jolly by Golly" from Cosmo Cricket (last years line). I love the whimsy Christmas designs, so this could be a Christmas card or you could just give it as a friendship card around this time of year. (Please click on the pictures for a larger view).

Love the simplicity of this coffee cup card! You can use it for cash or for a coffee card from your favorite coffee shop. Puts me in the mood for some coffee! Thanks for stopping by and Happy stamping!

Your Invited... Ai Challenge 91

Hello and happy Thursday! It's Challenge 91 over at the Art Impressions blog today! The challenge is to make an invitation. I was pretty excited to ink up my new Ai Snowman and Penguins stamp, SKU# T4172 for this fun challenge. I LOVE both snowmen and penguins, and I LOVED coloring them in!

They are so cute, they just make me smile. My card size is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". The designer paper is from last year's Basic Grey Christmas 6" x 6" paper pad. The glittered snowflake brad  is from my stash, it is a plain silver snowflake brad that I covered with glue and dipped in some American Crafts white  and silver chunky glitter. The stamp "You're Invited" is a stamp from a retired Stampin Up! set. The label with "You're Invited" sentiment is a punch from Stampin Up!.

On the inside is my stamped invitation information, SKU# J633. I really like how versatile this stamp is. It could be for ANY occasion. Please visit the Art Impressions Blog and see what the other fabulous Ai designers have made for this fun challenge, and play along with us won't you! You could win a $10.00 Ai certificate to use in the Ai store. Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
