Dreaming of beaches...

Hello friends, and happy Friday! As spring is around the corner, I've been dreaming of beaches and sunshine! So I just had to make this fun beach card scene, using this cute Ai Penguins Beach Bum Stamp Set SKU# 3287. I LOVE this stamp set, it's just so darn cute, and so many different ways to use this adorable set.

My kraft card base is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". I layered yellow and then aqua cardstock, then sewed all the layers together. I die cut some cute clouds and rolling beach hills from some cute My Favorite Things dies. Then I stamped the sun bathing penguins and cute coordinating sun. I colored the penguins in with copic markers.

For the inside I stamped a coordinating sentiment from the Penguin Beach Bum stamp set, and added that cute little sun image as well. I hope you enjoyed this little "think summer" card I created. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Ai Challenge 104 - Use Gingham or Plaid

Hello and happy Thursday! It's Ai Challenge 104 over at the Art Impressions Blog today, and the challenge is to use "Gingham or Plaid" on a card or project. For my card I decided to use this great Cash Keeper set called "Surprise Keeper" SKU# 4076. I just love this cute and clever stamp set! You can use it for cash or a gift card. I paper pieced my box and bow with some older My Minds Eye paper from a 6" x 6" paper pad from the Lost and Found Sunshine collection. I still LOVE this paper, the designs and color are fabulous, and it was so fun to make this box with this paper.

My card size is a regular A2 size (4-1/4" x 5-1/2"). The inside it shows the cute lady and surprise sentiment that comes with the set. Up, Up and Away!

Hello Ai friends and Happy Friday! I was so excited to finally ink up this adorable Ai Girlfriends Up and Away stamp, SKU# Y4231. This image is so cute, and so fun to color. This is a very special limited edition stamp too, and all proceeds go to support the Obediah fund. This stamp could be used for so many different occasions as well.

My card size is 6" x 5-1/2". I colored the image with copic markers, and used some cute My Favorite Things die cuts. I'm liking the primary colors to keep it simple and bright.

For the inside I stamped a simple "girlfriends" sentiment stamp that I received from attending Scrapfest 2012 Ai stamp class. I added a colorful flag die cut to match the colors on the front of my card. I hope you enjoyed this fun card. Thanks for stopping by.

Ai Challenge 103 "Anything Goes"

Hello friends! It's Challenge 103 over at the Art Impressions Blog today, and the challenge is "Anything Goes". So since we can pick anything we want, I wanted to ink up Art Impressions "Bingo Jean", SKU# 3511. I LOVE this fun image! It makes me smile inside.

My card size is 4-1/2" x 5-1/2". I colored my image in with copic markers. I embossed some kraft cardstock with an old Cuddlebug Provo craft "Happy Birthday" embossing folder. I love that folder, and still use it after having purchased it several years ago. I used Vintage Photo distress ink to distress the edges and make the embossed image pop more, love that look.

  

For the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the Bingo Jean stamp set, such a fun birthday wish.

Happy Friday!

Hello and happy Friday! I have been busy this week making a couple of masculine birthday cards for some upcoming birthdays. I just love this Art Impressions Antique Car image, SKU# T2233. It's one of my favorite images, plus I love vintage cars! This image can be paired with anything, and I love that.

I paired the car with a beautiful Ai Happy Birthday script sentiment, SKU# E597. It looks elegant yet still masculine. A perfect match with the background paper that I used from a Glitz (Yours Truly) 6" x 6" paper pad. My card size is 6" wide x 5-1/2" height.
