Back from Vacation...

I'm back from a visit to my sister in Kentucky. My husband and I had a fabulous time!  Now it's time to catch up on my blog and on my card making! Lots of birthdays in June that I need to make cards for.
Here is a wedding card that I made for my cousin who is getting married in a couple of weeks.
LOVE this designer paper from American Crafts that I got from my favorite stamp/scrapbook store in Walnut Grove, MN. Two years ago I had attended a spring card making workshop and we made this card, and nine others. I loved the card (stamps and supplies) so much I bought the supplies at the workshop (they sell all the supplies to make the 10 cards we made that day).  (This is the fourth wedding card I've made like this one! Every time I give it, the recipients love it!). This is a tri-fold card, and instead of being layered all on one layer, I propped the layers up with 3M foam tape to give it more dimension. I love layers on ALL my cards as you know.  :)
(It costs more to mail them, but worth it!)

Materials used:
Stamps: My Sentiments Exactly! (MSE-wedding wishes); Ink: Gray Versafine; Die: Spellbinders; Pearls: Stampin Up! Designer paper: American Crafts; White cardstock: Neenah; Pink and  tan/greenish (color is called River Rock) cardstock: Stampin Up!; 3M foam tape.

A cowboy birthday card for my grandson! He had his 9th birthday last month and I couldn't resist making this. Love this little cowboy and matching "howdy" stamp! I bought them online from Lizzie Anne, (unfortunately they went out of business a while ago).

Materials used:
Stamps: Lizzie Anne; star and circle dies: Spellbinders; brown and light blue cardstock: Stampin Up! white cardstock: Neenah; Ink: black: Memento; Vintage distress ink and foam distress tool by Tim Holtz/Ranger; Prisma Color Pencils, paper stumps, and gamsol for coloring; designer paper: Western Marshall paper I think is by Cosmo Cricket; Cream twine: PaperTrey Ink; sewing machine: Kenmore: white thread; 3M foam tape, corner rounder: Creative Memories.
