Santa and his little friends...

Hello and Happy Friday! I can't believe Christmas is almost here! I finally got to ink up this new ADORABLE Ai Santa and Penguins stamp, SKU# U4170. It just makes me smile because it's so CUTE! It was so fun to color in with a combination of Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. The kraft base of my card is 6" x 5-1/2". I wanted it to be a large card so I could layer my image onto a pretty Spellbinder's die cut, and pretty Christmas designer paper.

Here is a close up of the colored image. Santa and his little helpers are having such a fun time. I used some cute red gingham ribbon from my stash (retired from SU!) and tied a bow. Then I used some cream twine and tied a white button on top of the bow.

For the inside of the card I used a fun new 2012 Ai Christmas sentiment Holly Jolly, SKU# G4168. I used some matching designer paper, rounded the corners, and distressed the edges.

I would like to wish everyone a safe, happy, and blessed Christmas! Thank you for visiting.

Meet Beanie Whoot

Hello friends and happy Friday! I've been working on some birthday cards this week, and I decided to ink up this cute Ai Beanie Whoots stamp SKU# M4122. Isn't he the cutest or what? I decided to keep this card clean and simple. The kraft card base is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". I stamped my Beanie Whoots onto white cardstock, and colored the owl's hat and chest with Spectrum Noir markers (aqua's and grey's). I colored the owl and the branch with my Prisma Color pencils, gamsol, and paper stumps. I chose some lovely designer papers from a 6"x6" My Mind's Eye paper pad (Lost and Found 2, Breeze collection). LOVE those beautiful papers!

On the close up you can see the two different kinds of stitches I used to sew around the edges of the card. (Click on the photo for a close up).

For the inside of the card I stamped a cute sentiment from the Ai Birthday Whoot stamp set, SKU #4125. Distressed the edges with some tea dye distress ink, and added a matching strip of designer paper.
Thank you for stopping today! Have a safe and wonderful weekend and Happy Stamping!
