It's a red, white and blue birthday card...
Made this cute card especially for my lovely niece Jenny. It was her sweet 16th birthday this month. I used many different stamps to complete the look. I got the idea for this card from Betsy Veldman's blog. (I LOVE her blog! She is so talented!) You can see her original here: http://scrapbookgirl.typepad.com/paper_scissors_and_superh/2012/03/introducing-back-pocket-basics.html
I made my own red gingham background, and yellow chevron background.

Four-wheeling fun!
Finished this layout using papers from a Studio Calico kit called "Handmade" (November 2011 kit). I really needed to start using my kits so I picked out papers that best matched my photo's. I did the journaling on my computer and printed it out on regular printer paper. I used a scrapbook sketch that used three photos to start my page, and moved it around a bit to fit my two photos better. (Sorry I can't remember where I got the sketch from to give credit to). This page came together rather quickly and I loved that.
Materials used:
All designer paper is from the Nov. 2011 Studio Calico kit, and add on Nov. 2011 paper kit (both are sold out). White cardstock: Neenah; Brown cardstock: my stash; Pure Poppy ink: Stampin Up! Tea Dye Distress ink: Tim Holtz/Ranger; File tab die: My Favorite Things; 1" and 1-1/2" Circle punches: EK Sucess; scallop border punch: Stampin Up!; Laugh out loud stamp came from a retired Studio Calico stamp set; sewing machine: Kenmore; white thread; green and red button from October Afternoon; small stapler and staples: by Tim Holtz/Ranger.

Spring and Summer...
Just finished up this page of our granddaughter. Its an Easter page complete with "curly curls", and a "Sunday best" dress. She is so adorable! Our granddaughter just loves butterflies, so I use them a lot in the scrapbook I am making for her. Here is a close-up of the page:
I love sewing on my scrapbook pages! It adds so much. Since I took the "Scrapbook Stamping" class at Two Peas in a bucket.com, I have been trying to include stamping on every page I make now. The butterfly stamps have matching dies. I LOVE those. I love layering on pages too. I get so much inspiration from taking on-line classes. You never have to leave home either! All this internet technology is amazing and is really wonderful for people like me who live out in the middle of farming country and have no access to stores/classes near by. So it works well for me to take on-line classes. I love it that most of them are self-paced too. Since I am a slow scrapper, that works best for me. :)
Materials used:
Stamps: Butterfly, butterfly dies and oval label dies: PaperTrey Ink; EASTER word stamps: Stepping Stone Alpha stamps: Hero art co-branded with Studio Calico (now available for sale at heroarts.com); Ink: Marine Blue, pink and green (wild wasabi) by Stampin Up!; Yellow (Harvest Gold) by PaperTrey Ink; Tea Dye distress ink by Tim Holtz/Ranger; Pink sewn ribbon: Stampin Up!; Yellow (lemon yellow) cardstock: PaperTrey Ink; Green (wild wasabi) cardstock: Stampin Up!; Designer paper: Little Yellow Bicycle; Pink buttons: my stash; cream twine: Papertrey Ink; die cut machine: Cuttlebug by Provocraft; sewing machine: Kenmore.
